kia ora in week 3 this is what i made using google slides. I really enjoyed learning about how you can make google slides more than just a boring plan presentation. i have created a quick quiz about the world and space.
Nice work on your google slide Jada ka pai! It's so much fun once you get going with these things and our students really enjoy making them. There seemed to be a bit of a glitch with one or two of the slides linking back to Try Again, so you might want to check it. The good thing is you can make changes in your google slide and it will automatically change it here. Have you had a chance to try this with any students yet?
week 5 focuses on supporting visible teaching and learning through building collaborative, multimodal Google Sites. i can now see how helpful it would be to know your way around google site it is a awesome place to create a class site. i dont have a class to make a class site for so to increases my skills on google sites i made a site that can be used to find out what to wear each season of the year. i really enjoyed google sites it has a lot of possibilities.

Personalising learning via multiple opportunities to access content. visible learning and teaching. hub for information for parents and caregivers. weekly overview and timelines. class sites are the perfect place for student to go to see what their class is doing for the week. it also great for children to find what reading or math group they belong to with out have to wait for the teacher making them more independant. Rewindable content through multimedia .
This week we looked into computational thinking and how being a computational thinker can help empower children's learning. and how technology is becoming a big part of the worlds future. we also looked into coding and we got to have a go at making out own animation. i spent a bit of time creating a scratch animation but didn't realize i wasn't loged in to be able to save it and display on here.
